Faster CPU for older P2BF ?
The main thing is whether or not you have enough memory and memory bandwidth for it - older graphics cards generally don't (including most older GeForce 2 cards), but the GeForce 3, GeForce 2 Ti as well as the Ultra and maybe even the Pro do. I tried moving to 16 bit color and I saw absolutely no frame rate

EntirelyOpen-source Graphics Cards Coming Soon
The older GeForce cards (GeForce1 up to GeForce4, including all Mx variants, but not the "8x" variants) support AGP 1.0 and 2.0 (voltages 3.3V and 1.5V). There will be no problems using this combination - the only problem I can see has the name SmartDoctor. Roland.

Fix is to get that card back, it's really no more than an older and cheaper GeForce 2, don't get caught by the advertisement hype and make some research before buying, do not provide compatible drivers) An older GeForce 3 will work better than this MX, even a GeForce 2 will support all effects with FS2002.

WinME install problem...
The only bottleneck would by my older Geforce-2 GTS/64. I could replace that later (with something -much- faster) for maybe $80.00. Funny thing is....., I'm in no rush, and there is no piece of software that I can't run well enough (yet...). Newer game-releases are a "dime a dozen", I've not bought any new software

From what I read the GeForce cards need extra power and the Voodoo jumpers are supposed to give that extra bit of voltage. Since the titanium cards are relatively new we have not been able to find anyone else with this setup, only references to the older GeForce cards in the BX2000. She has already flashed the MB

No OGL_ForceGeForce key. MAXtreme drivers seem only marginally better than OpenGL. Overall, not much better. Turning off crosshair cursor helped more than SoftQuadro. Should the difference be very apparent? Rhino must have great OpenGL support because it just FLIES. At least 60fps in shaded polygon mode.

The orginal Geforce was theoretically capable of 15 million polygons a second vs 20 and 25 on the MX and GTS respectively (if the software is optimized for T and L) Bottom line, I would say get an MX or GTS. The older Geforce can run hot and has no support for dual display.
