I'm not aware of any problems with VIA chipsets and GeForce graphics cards, though there were a LOT of problems with some older GeForce graphics cards it was just that some mobo manufacturers, eg Asus, decided that no graphics card would ever need all the current stipulated in the AGP specs, and cut corners.
